Kids Cottage Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten offers a comprehensive educational experience for ages 18 months to 5 years. We provide a solid foundation for the early school years where children engage in discovery art, math, literacy and science projects, dramatic play, music, movement, computer, circle and center time. Our highly qualified teachers use Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences, Creative Curriculum and the Delaware Early Learning Foundations for School Success which creates an individualized experience for each learner and promotes language, social/emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Students are inspired and engaged in an interactive, well-rounded environment that supports a lifelong love of learning.

Enrichment Program
The Enrichment Program is a very popular hour of fun and extended learning for our preschool kids. This program includes Spanish, Smarts 'n' Arts (a literacy based arts and crafts), Cooking, Book Club, and a variety of Health and Wellness programs! This is coordinated and taught by our well educated preschool teachers. Your child may participate in one or more of these enriching programs!
Classes: Each day from 1-2pm
Drop-In rates apply: $7 for the hour
Materials Fee: $50/year per class
Preschool Admission:
Admission is on a first come, first serve basis, with an overall goal of the best possible mix of race, religion, sex, and economic status.
Withdrawal:
A 30 day written notice is required if you should chose to withdraw your child during the school year, September-May, and the next month's tuition is due in full.
Refunds:
After a 30 day withdrawal period, any advanced payments will be refunded.
Progress Reports and Conferences:
Teachers will hold conferences with parents in November and May. The students will receive a written progress report at each conference. Your involvement will give you an understanding of our program, goals, and expectations. The staff will maintain a close parent/teacher relationship. Parents should feel free to contact the school and request additional conferences if needed. All parents will receive daily notes, monthly newsletters and a calendar each month.

Children will be grouped by age according to the August 31st cut off date.
